"For a player, there is nothing better than England. This is a real football country with love and passion for the game and the clubs. I guess with my height and my qualities in the air, playing in England was always the best choice for me. I have always dreamt of playing in this league. I used to watch all the big games on TV in France, with the amazing fans, in great stadiums with great goals and great players and I used to think ‘I want to play there one day'. And then I played against Chelsea and Liverpool with Bordeaux in the Champions League and those two experiences were unbelievable.
More than the physical aspect, I would say that it's the pace of the game in England that has always fascinated me. It's fast, with no breaks, from one goal to another from start to finish. It is like that in every game, not only in the big games. It is very impressive."
Мечты сбываются! Хочется выпить за это буквально. А вообще, правильные ты вещи, парень, говоришь. То есть для болельщиков "Арсенала" правильные. Что думают фаны "Бордо" даже представить страшно. Правда была у него в этом интервью одна осечка:
"Arsenal play nice, attractive football with short passes, on the floor, lots of pass and move. Every player in the world wants to play like that and Arsenal, like Barcelona, provide you with this philosophy."
